A small combo (those of us who were available) from the NECB played at a memorial service today.  Despite not having many rehearsals before our performance, we really had fun playing together.  We didn't have a room where we could warm up without disturbing the service in progress before our performance, so instead we went out to the parking lot and warmed up in a church bus that was parked there.  As musicians, we have learned how to creatively improvise when we need to!

The Northeast Community Band got its start in the 1998-1999 season.  This is a picture of the band from the early days.  We've grown a lot since then!
